20ish bikes turned out for the Ladies Choice picnic ride.  With our eyes on the sky....it wasn't long before the rains
came while we huddled under the canopy areas at Perry's.  The report from John who was holding tables at Russ
Forest was that it was pouring there as well....and Mr. Director who had gone home before the rains using
the pretense of picking up some safety vests.....missed the rain and reported by phone that the ride was cancelled
since the radar showed more on the way.  He was kind enough, however, to ride back in the car with a basket
load of towels to wipe the bikes down.  So many took their picnics to Ed & Deb's house and had lunch there
along with birthday cake for Roger Herring's 70th birthday, and Ed Halcomb's 50 and some months birthday...
so, in spite of the weather we still "Rode and had Fun!"
