Classes offered:
Winter Basic Rider Course
Spring/Summer Basic Rider Course
Spring/Summer Experienced Rider Course
Winter classes: we are now the Pilot program for the State of Michigan
for offering the Basic Rider Course during the Winter months. This is
how it works:
No equipment will be needed for the Winter classroom portion. See the
Spring Summer classes for the required range equipment this will also be
discussed during the classroom portion.
You sign up for our Basic Rider Course and once you have completed the
classroom portion you will be able to sign up for the Range portion of
the class that starts in the Spring and continues through the end of
September 2007.
Cost is $300.00 and covers both the winter classroom time and your range
time and we provide the motorcycles!
Location: Perry
Harley-Davidson 5331 South Sprinkle Road.
Class times are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
One Tuesday and Wednesday for the classroom and three evenings for the
range time.
Other times and days may be worked out call and ask us.
Regular Spring and Summer classes:
Our classes are small classes with from 6 to 8 students for a more
relaxed class. We have one day of classroom and the rest of the time is
for riding on the range, remember you aren't learning if the wheels
aren't turning. Our classes start on Tuesday evenings and go through
Friday evening, from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm each of the nights. For the
range you will need a DOT helmet, glasses, full finger gloves, long
sleeves, long pants and over the ankle boots. Bring your riding gear the
first night as we will be riding the first night, depending on weather.
If you need this equipment, as a student once you have paid for the
class if you would like you can purchase any needed equipment - being a
student of Michigan's Safest Riders you are entitled to a 10% discount
(except on motorcycles and sale items). The cost for our course is
$300.00, our class waives the State of Michigan's Riding test. Simply
fill out the

with your Credit Card info for payment or go to the Dealership in person
with your payment. You will be notified within a couple days of the
class you are in. Please fill out the application completely, including
the dates you are requesting for your class. To fax your application

basis.

Experienced Rider Course (ERC):
This class is designed for those individuals who have ridden for many
miles but, either want their Cycle Endorsement for
Michigan or just want to learn more techniques for riding safely.
Call to see if you qualify for the Experienced Rider Course.
You ride your own bike and the class is one Saturday from 10:00 am to
around 3:00 pm.
Cost:
$115.00 if Michigan Cycle Endorsement is needed.
$85.00 if no Michigan Cycle Endorsement is needed.
You can sign up for these classes at any time by filling out the
application on our website, these classes will fill rapidly so the
earlier you sign up the sooner you will be able to get into a class.
